| A breathtakingly comprehensive web "shrine" to the La Follia theme, by Paul Gabler in the Netherlands. Describes the origins of this ubiquitous musical motif and how it has appeared countless times in western music. A veritable treasure trove of information including history, discography, sound clips, sheet music and more. |

| Founded in 1987 by Daniel Johnson, the Texas Early Music Project is dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and early Classical music through performance, recordings, and educational outreach.
In recent years, TEMP has collaborated with several Central Texas groups to present works ranging from Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers to the medieval Play of Herod. Members of the TEMP also perform regularly with such groups as La Follia Austin Baroque, Dallas Bach Society, Texas Baroque Ensemble, the Clearlight Waites, Sinfonia Baroque, and others. Recordings of Texas Early Music Project concerts are available. Please visit the TEMP website here for details. |

| The Early Music Ensemble is an organization of the School of Music of The University of Texas at Austin. The EME performs vocal and instrumental works of the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and (increasingly) Classical periods. Instrumental music is performed on reproductions of historical instruments whenever possible. Concerts of the Early Music Ensemble at UT are free and open to the public. |
